The Morrígan called Babd was a Celtic deity and shape shifter. She was the goddess of war, death, and prophecy who could transform herself into a battle crow. Her cries across the battlefield incited warriors to fight, helping them to victory over their enemies, then feasted on the bodies of the slain.
