Part three of the trilogy 'Canary Blue'. These three paintings deal with human commerce and how it is at odds with the natural world. They were painted in the period leading up to the financial crash of 2008.

Canary wharf is the centre for modern financial dealings in the United Kingdom. Built upon what was once a vibrant wetland, where kingfishers dived for fish. This painting imagines the integration of our modern finanacial district with the natural world, as a metaphor for our ability to reconcile human existence with the earth.
