Renowned artist Lesley Thiel's detailed and realistically painted works are internationally recognized and appear in collections throughout the world. Her interest is not in capturing the 'surface' of her subjects, but in the inner light that shines from within. Her aim is to create works that appear to breathe and move and which carry out intimate conversations with the viewer. Working in fine detail and using delicate palettes she painstakingly recreates the beauty she sees around her.
